As you may or may not have noticed, this is the first blog post since January. I have had a very… let’s just say “eventful” last few months. Because of this, I have not really been motivated enough to post blogs.
Jotting down blogs
Even though I have not been motivated to write and post blogs on the website, during some months I have wrote out book blogs. For most of these book blogs, I wrote them as soon as I finished reading the book. My notebook is filling up quite nicely with drafts for the blog. Why I haven’t posted these? I honestly could not tell you. Probably my motivation has been so low that I just haven’t felt the need or want. I know that I do plan on eventually posting these, but I need the motivation.
There have been.. months.
February was a month that I somewhat don’t want to acknowledge since bad news occurred and it somewhat destroyed me. The beginning of March was also not the best time, and for the remainder of March, I felt pretty down and out. April however started to feel better. Especially since some good came out of with the celebration of my birthday (I’m 28 now, yay).
The beginning of May was also not the best month either, due to another tragedy within the family and that has also destroyed me. In fact right now I am still slowly recovering from it.
Over the past few months too I have also read quite a lot of books. I am currently at 26 books read for this year, and I am now going through my next book – A Court of Thrones and Roses by Sarah J. Maas! Really enjoying it so far and I’m really looking forward to seeing how the series continues.
Getting the blogging mojo back
I know that I will eventually get my mojo back. I do plan on trying my hardest to start posting more. Even if it’s just a small blog here and there. If I can do that, I will be a very happy person. Blogging is a very enjoyable past time for me and it has really made me sad that my blogging mojo disappeared.
But I do plan on trying my best to write and post more. Even if it’s a small review here and there. Baby steps can go a long way!
