Current TBR list

It feels like a lifetime since I’ve posted something other than a book review. I really want to start writing more blogs that aren’t purely review based. So in this blog, I’m going to talk about some of the books that are currently on my TBR list. I’m not going to list them all because otherwise, it’ll feel completely overwhelming. Some of these come out this month while others are books I have owned for a long time. They all sit nice and snug in my TBR cart (thank you Ikea) and will stay there until they are read. Without further ado, here is the list!

Finale by Stephanie Garber

I recently finished Legendary (review to come soon, but hereis the review for the first book, Caraval!) so it’s only right that I read Finale as one of my first books this month. Because the Netherlands is sometimes weird when it comes to releases of books, I already own it! I am really excited to see what happens next with Donatella and Scarlette, Dante and Julian!

Aurora Rising by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman

Although I do not own this book yet, I shall be receiving in in this months Illumicrate box. I decided to treat myself to this box for my birthday from last month (also yes hello I am 29 now!). I have nothing but incredible things about this book so I am really excited to see what it is about.

Nevernight by Jay Kristoff

Because of me wanting to read Aurora Rising, I think it’s high time I read other books by Jay. This book (and series) has been on my TBR list for a while now. I have heard incredibly positive things about the Nevernight series. Though I need to remember that going into this book might mean that my feelings are completely wrecked and I will be left with MANY THOUGHTS. Of course, once I have read this book, I would like to read Godsgrave afterward, so that’s on my TBR list by default!

A Curse so Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer

This is the first book for this month. I honestly think the theme for this month’s TBR is ‘I have heard nothing but good things about it’, which is no lie! A Curse so Dark and Lonely was included in a recent Fairyloot box (WHICH I DIDN’T GET) and I watched people hype so much on Instagram that I knew I wanted to read it. At this current moment in time, I am 150 pages into the book already and I AM SO happy that I’ve started to read it! I am really looking forward to seeing how it progresses.

Vengeful by V.E. Schwab

Honestly, I have been putting off reading this book for ages. I just don’t want this fantastic series to end. I know I am going to absolutely ADORE Vengeful. Currently, on my bookshelf, I have 5 different copies of this same book. Why? Because I’m an addict to everything black and white and Schwab. I am super excited to read this book soon though!
