When I read up about this game, it sold me. Adventure game? Yes! Indie game? Of course, perfect for Indie Game Month. Female Protagonist?! Sold! Here are my thoughts on Blackwood Crossing.

Thoughts on Psychonauts

Finally I got around to playing this game. This game was developed and published by Double Fine Productions. The amount of comments and praise I have heard about Psychonauts over the years has been incredible. I have seen a screenshot here and there from the game, but I never sat my butt down and played through it. However due to my Indie Game Month on Twitch, I decided that it was about high time I set my goals to play and finish Psychonauts. Here are my thoughts on this interesting and mind melting game!

Thoughts on Recettear: An Item’s Shop’s Tale!

The second game that I streamed on Twitch during Indie Game Month was Recettear: An Item’s Shop’s Tale. The game is developed by EasyGameStation and published by Carpe Fulgur LLC. I tried this game a long time ago but after 30 minutes I quit. I don’t remember exactly why I did, but I did. Recettear has been a game I have wanted to go back to and play through properly, and boy I’m glad I did!

Gears of War Board Game

So me and the partner decided that we wanted to play a game together. He had a look through the board and card games that we have, and we both decided on playing the Gears of War board game. This board game has been with him since his university years back in Groningen. The games usually take between 1 to 3 hours, maybe even longer. This was my first time playing, and I honestly cannot wait to play more!
