Feyre is immortal.

After rescuing her lover Tamlin from a wicked Faerie Queen, she returns to the Spring Court possessing the powers of the High Fae. But Feyre cannot forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people - nor the bargain she made with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court.

As Feyre is drawn ever deeper into Rhysand's dark web of politics and passion, war is looming and an evil far greater than any queen threatens to destroy everything Feyre has fought for. She must confront her past, embrace her gifts and decide her fate.

She must surrender her heart to heal a world torn in two.

“There are good days and hard days for me—even now. Don’t let the hard days win.”

Oh my good lord. A Court of Mist & Fury by Sarah J. Maas is literally everything that I loved about the first book, wrapped up in a silver bow with added sprinkles. It is SO incredible and I cannot even begin to explain to you how much I love this book.

A Court of Mist & Fury further expands on the already vast world. The amount of details that Maas has put in is simply outstanding and I still can’t get over it. IT really makes you believe you are there. The areas are so vibrant and realistic. From the terrain to the people residing within them is just incredible. Literally, the areas along have made me fall in love with this book and the world of Pyrathian more.

“No one was my master— but I might be master of everything, if I wished. If I dared.”

The characters within A Court of Mist & Fury are also unbelievably good. Oh my good lord. Naturally, my love for Feyre within this book has been pretty much cemented. I LOVE THIS GIRL, OKAY? She is so utterly brilliant, brave and just an incredible protagonist. My heart is and will always be hers.

“To the stars who listen—and the dreams that are answered.”

I am also so so so happy about Rhysand. I had a feeling that my love for him would grow and boy… did it grow. He is most definately my favorite character within these books. I love him SO MUCH. He is so unbelievable loyal to his court and he loves everyone. He is always willing to put himself in danger in order to protect the ones he cherishs. His undying affection for Feyre is one of the most wonderfully beautiful things I have ever read in a book.

What I loved though was how the relationship aspect was so precious and super unique. I adored it and I want more!

“Come on, Feyre. We don’t bite. Unless you ask us to.”

I also love learning about Rhysand’s Court. Morrigan is incredibly sassy and brilliant. I LOVE sassy characters, and she fit the bill. Cassian is also incredible and I love all his interactions with Feyre, Mor and the rest of the court. Azriel is one of the mysterious characters within Rhysand’s Court and I am excited to learn more in-depth information about him!

“The issue isn’t whether he loved you, it’s how much. Too much. Love can be poison”

Overall, A Court of Mist & Fury is (so far) my favorite book in this series. Incredible locations, outstanding characters and FEYSAND SHALL RULE THE WORLD AND MY HEART FOREVER.
